Jabitherm Rohrsysteme AG
For over 40 years, Jabitherm Rohrsysteme AG has been developing and manufacturing pre-insulated piping systems designed for the transport of liquids and gases. We are the specialists when it comes to above-ground, exposed insulated pipelines featuring a metal jacket. Our pre-insulated pipes are installed on pipe bridges, on rooftops, or within production halls—essentially anywhere where buried plastic-jacketed pipes would be impractical. Typical fields of application include the chemical industry, oil and gas processing, refrigeration technology, as well as food and beverage production. Whether it is a product-carrying beverage line in a brewery, a trace-heated phenol line in a chemical plant, or an ammonia-carrying refrigeration line in a central warehouse, Jabitherm offers the right concept for every segment and every product. Custom solutions and client-specific adaptations round out our portfolio.

Jabitherm Rohrsysteme AG was founded in 1984 starting at first manufacturing facility in Troisdorf near Cologne with the production of buried district heating pipes. Due to the specialization in the chemical industry, Jabitherm Rohrsysteme AG noticed the need for the development of a totally new system.

PIPESYSTEM RAPID
Contrary to district heating, pipes for chemical industry are installed above ground – initial start for the RAPID pipe system. Following this release, the cooling Industry discoverd the suitability of these pipes also for their sites. Even though the system seems to be easy adaptable, the deviating requirements for insulation and installation challenged Jabitherm Rohrsysteme AG once more.

The result of this challenge led to the development of the pipe system RAPID and two different product series: RAPID-ESP and RAPID-COOL.

MANUFACTURING FACILITY BAD LAUSICK
MANUFACTURING FACILITY BAD LAUSICK
The overwhelming success and increasing request for RAPID products initiated the demand for an increase of production capacity. It resulted in the founding of a second manufacturing base at Bad Lausick, close to Leipzig in Germany. Just after that milestone, Jabitherm Rohrsysteme AG started searching for new markets.
